Materials:

• White card stock
• Thick light blue paper (or any colour you wish)
• White marker
• Any fabric for a handkerchief

First take light blue paper and cut out a template as shown on the picture below.

Very catchy card inspired by Japanese fine arts and vampire stories. Will suit perfectly to someone who loves the „Twilights” saga.

Materials:

• Textures blue card stock
• Silver markers
• Star shaped stickers
• Red textured paper
• Red threads
• Glue, scissors

Directions:
Take your card stock, draw a tree using silver marker.
Add star shaped stickers.
Cut pieces of red threads and glue them on top of the drawing.
Cut out a circle from red paper, glue it in the left upper corner.
Your handmade card is ready!

This is a cute diy greeting card for any occasion. But mostly suitable for ladies, of course!

Materials:

• Card stock
• Thick white paper and paper of the same colour as the card stock
• White stickers – circles (you can also cut them out from white paper, but in this case circles won’t look so neat)
• Ribbon, button
• Glue, scissors

Directions:
Take white and coloured paper, cut out 2 rectangles. The coloured one should be some few mm smaller then the white one. Glue them one onto another and to the centre of card’s front side.
Make a small bow, glue it onto rectangle and add a small button.
Glue little polka dots all around the card’s front side.
Card making is over, you’re done!

This card combines two of my favourite aspects in card craft – natural materials (twine, rough cardboard) and buttons, which look so cute in any handmade stuff.

Materials:

• Card stock from rough cardboard
• Twine
• Black marker
• Textured rose paper
• Three buttons
• Scissors, glue

Directions:
Cut out 3 hearts from rose paper. Add some glue and embellish them with buttons. Glue your hearts on the front side of the card stock.
Cut out 4 pieces of twine. Use three to make „steams” for your heart shaped flowers. Make a bow from the last piece and glue at the bottom of the „steams”, forming a flower bunch.
Draw hearts and waves along the bottom of the card using black marker.
Your diy valentine is ready!

Wedding season is coming and I’m searching all over the web for interesting diy invitation ideas. Unfortunately it’s not as easy as I though: the majority is made by professional crafters and are way too difficult to make with own hands for a person, who has never done this before. Today I was lucky enough to stumble upon one very nice site of Russian crafter Kamilova Anna, who makes beautiful diy cards for any occasion. One of her wedding invitation is just what I was searching for – easy to make and very romantic.

Materials:

• Thick glossy white and red paper
• Glue, scissors
• Red ribbon
• White butterflies (textile, paper or whatever you find)

Directions:
Find some nice pictures of groom and bride/wedding rings/ bouquet. Save them, copy on a Microsoft Words doc file, add a text of invitation and print it on a colour laser printer.
Cut out a stripe of red paper.
Roll the invitation, wrap it with red paper and ribbon, make a bow.
Take butterflies, add some glue and put them on top of red wrapping.

How to make a card| Directions
Take a nice glamorous picture, and glue it on the front side of the card (it should be of the same size). Draw a bag on the white paper, colour it and cut out. Glue on the card stock. Add some embellishments according to your taste. Your diy greeting card is ready!

Draw neat vertical lines using green marker and lineal. Add heart stickers on top of each line.

How to make a card| Directions:
Outline the slots on the front side of the card stock, make neat cuts with a paper knife and insert stripes of patterned paper as shown on the photo. Bend the ends of each stripe inside and glue them to the inner side of the card.
Add some flowers, sequins, rhinestones or any other embellishment. Your happy birthday card for friend is ready!

How to make a card| Materials:

• Card stock
• Coloured paper
• Scissors, glue

How to make a card| Directions:
Choose a colour of the background, cut out a rectangle (some few mm smaller then the card stock’s front side) and glue it on the front side of the card.
Take coloured paper and cut out all the necessary details for birds.
Carefully glue all the parts together as shown on the photo. Glue the birds onto the card stock, right into the centre.
Add some greeting words or a „Get well soon” inscription. Your diy card is ready!
