Mothers Day card with knitted flower

This card project is perfect for those, who knows at least the basics of knitting. But if you have never hold knitting spokes, then don’t get upset – there’s a way to skip the knitting part and make this beautiful handmade Mothers Day card anyway!

Ideas for Cards| Materials:

  • Plain card stock
  • Patterned paper
  • White paper
  • Wool threads
  • Button
  • Glue and scissors

Ideas for Cards| Directions:
First of all knit a nice voluminous fluffy flower. If you are not too crafty, then try to buy one in a fabric store (it can also be a fabric flower, not necessarily woollen). Add a colourful button to its centre.
Take patterned paper, cut out a rectangle that is a bit smaller then the card’s front side. Sew the flower to this sheet of paper and now glue it to the card stock’s front side.
Take white paper, cut out a rectangle as shown on the photo. Write or print the greeting words. Glue it below the flower.
Your homemade Mothers Day card is ready!
