I’ve already mentioned several times that I simply love diy greeting cards with buttons. Looks so cute! Well, here’s another great example of how to use buttons in card design.
Ideas for Cards| Materials:
- Card stock
- Thick brown paper
- Three red buttons
- Red and brown pencils
- Red ribbon with white polka dots
- Glue, scissors
Ideas for Cards| Directions:
Cut out a rectangle from brown paper. It should have same size as the card’s front side.
Draw a square with pinstripes in the upper part of the paper sheet. Add 2 buttons. Write some greeting words or inscription, depending on the occasion.
Make a flower, folding the twine. Glue its centre below the square. Add a button to the centre.
Wrap the ribbon around the sheet of paper and secure it on the back side. Add some glue so it would stick firmly and wouldn’t move.
Now glue this sheet of paper to the front side of your card stock. Your nice and simple handmade card is ready!
